SPECIAL - THE PROMS - MUSIC OF THE SPHERES (Screengrabs below)

"...I can't hear you!
Hello..!"

PLOTLINE

Quill-pen in hand, the Doctor is composing a piece of music, ODE TO THE UNIVERSE just as The Graske penetrates the TARDIS barriers. The Graske warns the Doctor of a "hole" in space. This leads to the Royal Albert Hall, London, Earth and the 2008 Proms performance of DOCTOR WHO music.

Whilst the Doctor throws his new composition through the "hole" for the orchestra to play - under his "conductorship", the Graske disappears through the spacial anomaly and threatens the audience with a water-pistol.

The Doctor retrieves the alien and sends him back to the place of origin, and, addressing the Proms audience, bids farewell.

A lovely piece of fun with Tennant producing an iconic representation of the Doctor. Perfect.

Why didn't I buy a ticket!
