(C) DOCTOR WHO - DAVID TENNANT and CATHERINE TATE
EPISODE 1 - PARTNERS IN CRIME - Screengrab images below

"...The right man. I've seen him, I've met him,
just once and then... I let him fly away.
If you ever see a little blue box fly up there in the sky,
you shout for me, Gramps. Cause he's still out there,
somewhere. And I'll find him, Gramps, I'll find him..."

PLOTLINE

The Doctor was destined to meet Donna Noble again. But not in the middle of Earth-Alien crisis as the Adipose start their stomach-churning invasion.

EPISODE REVIEW - PENDING

(However, in the meantime, THE SUN was correct, it was stonker (slang: fantastic), and, of course, if there was any doubt, Catherine Tate was magnificant.

Things to look out for...

DOCTOR WHO FOLKLORE The Doctor mentions, whilst examining a "cat-flap" that he had encountered cat people once before. This refers to the Cheetah People from the 1989 story, SURVIVAL.

DOCTOR WHO FOLKLORE Miss Foster is concerned that the Doctor may have told the "Shadow Proclamation" of her plans. This "organisation" was first discussed by the Ninth Doctor in the 2005 story, ROSE.

DOCTOR WHO FOLKLORE Donna mentions numerous "alien" or mysterious events that she investigated that she hoped would lead back to the Doctor. Including "Crop Circles", Bees disappearing and the replica of the Titanic flying over Buckingham Palace (see: VOYAGE OF THE DAMNED).

DOCTOR WHO FOLKLORE "Miss Foster" is the human disguise for an alien, Matron Cofelia of the Five-Staighten Cassabindi Nursery Fleet (Intergalactic Class) and employed by the Apidosian First Family to "birth" their fat offspring (as their breeding planet had been "lost").

DOCTOR WHO FOLKLORE Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) makes an unspoken cameo at the end of the episode. However, as she walks down the street she fades away.

DOCTOR WHO FOLKLORE The Doctor discards "Miss Foster's" Sonic pen in a dustbin.

PRODUCTION NOTES The CGI technology, MASSIVE FX, is used to created the massed ranks of Adipose. This technology was first used in THE LORD OF THE RINGS film trilogy.
