The BBFC have released further details for the BBC DVD release of the CLASSIC SERIES Tom Baker 1976 story, THE BRAIN OF MORBIUS
No cuts were made to episodes 1 to 3 of THE BRAIN OF MORBIUS (rated PG) though the BBFC stated that it did "contain scary scenes". Episode 4 contains "
mild fantasy violence and horror".

As reported on the 12 May (and last year on this website), Steven Moffat will succeed Russell T Davies as Head Writer & Executive Producer from SERIES 5.
Safe hands.
DOCTOR WHO will return in 2009 with four specials, and the full-length fifth series is currently scheduled to be broadcast on BBC One in Spring 2010.
Moffatt will continue as one of the Board Directors of Hartswood Films, for which he is also developing a new comedy ADAM & EVE. He has recently completed the screenplay for Steven Spielberg's TINTIN movie.

The publication (360 pages) details "the untold story of the BBC series". This sounds like a memoir for the departing Executive. Perhaps, by November the scripts for the 2009 Specials will have been written so RTD will be "speaking his mind".
