eyeofhorus.org.uk is not one for bending over backwards for Russell T Davies and Phil Collinson, prostrate before them and telling them what they want to hear.
To misquote from DALEK, "Just like a little Editor should", as others do. The site is independent - and, yes, has got a little to controversial, "too close for comfort", and like a splinter a minor irritant.
And now its BBC WALES to be the irritant.
What possessed intelligent men like Davies and Collinson to create (probably) the biggest spoiler ever published in DOCTOR WHO's history.
Greed and selfishness that would not be too out of place in the heart of Manchester's Canal Street or London's Old Compton Street (And don't email about being me homophobic again - been there, bought the t-shirt and a pair of knee-pads).
Whilst having one of the best NEW SERIES plots, they "lost the plot". Contempt for those fans who have not only become obsessed with the NEW SERIES but have stuck theough the "lean years" of the programme's exile to satellite & cable channels.
The reveal of the dalek-human hybrid, Diagoras-Sec, up until the publication of the RADIO TIMES, was not discussed in DOCTOR WHO circles (though I do honestly attempt to avoid Forums and fan sites that have "loose tongues") and could have been as powerful as the reveal of the cybermen in the 1982 story, EARTHSHOCK.
But Producers "could resist" spoiling it for millions of fans. After warning millions of fans to be wary of "Ruiners" before SERIES 3 started.
I think that's enough said. The point has been made. Of course, certain fans websites won't criticise their revered BBC WALES but not this site.
Awaiting public apologies - no doubt in a coming issue of RADIO TIMES.
Talk to the BBC WALES face. There's two to choose from.
